Entertaining Angels Unawares

The smell from snapping turtle egg-laying-junkets
has left the garden path,
the hummingbirds have established a milk-route
among the tempting garden nectars,
the praying mantises are busy trying to grow up,
and the baby bunnies are hiding from the fox.

The garden is a hotbed of activity!

New muskrats and ducklings cavort in the creek.
Swallowtail caterpillars are munching their way through
the parsley and fennel.
The baby wrens are perfecting their flying skills.

All’s right in this world.

Hi Jane,
Great blog! The pictures are super.

I agree that a garden is the scene of great activity and peace at the same time.

Thanks for stopping at my blog and making the connection. It's great to visit fellow PA gardeners.
